* February 14, 2024 (ie January 5, Giap Thin):

- Ritual part: Bát Xã ( Eight communes) hold sacrifices at Thuong (Upper) Temple.

- Festival part:

From 7:30 am to 5:00 pm:

+ Opening of Cultural - Sports activities at the festival center yard.

+ Organizing Traditional Wrestling at the festival center yard.

+ Organizing Calligraphy writing activities at  Ngự Triều Di Quy Communal House, folk games, interactive experiences: Crossbow shooting at Ngự Xạ Đài, throwing "cồn" ( cotton ball),  Crossing bamboo bridge; displaying bonsai trees... at the Experience Area (Festival Organizing Committee Area)

+ Crossbow shooting competition at Văn Chỉ area (next to An Duong Vuong Temple)

+ Human chess competition, swinging at the festival center yard

+ Volleyball finals for Loa Thành Cup at  Cầu Bài; Stadium;

+ Traditional "Tuồng" (Vietnamese classical theater) performance at the festival center yard

7:30 p.m: Art performance to welcome the Festival at the festival center yard.

* February 15, 2024 (ie January 6, Giap Thin):

- Ceremonial part:

From 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m:

+ Incense offering ceremony of Eight Communes of Cổ Loa citadel.

+ Cổ Loa Festival 2024 opening ceremony

+ Practicing the ritual of worshiping and ceremonial.

+ Practicing the ritual of welcoming the palanquin of King An Dương and the palanquin of the Mother God of  "Bát xã Loa Thành" (Eight communes of Cổ Loa citadel) including:  Cổ Loa, Văn Thượng, Mạch Tràng, Sằn Giã, Ngoại Sát, Đài Bi, Cầu Cả, Thư Cưu.

- Festival part:

+ Volleyball finals for Loa Thành Cup

+ Human chess competition, swinging at the festival center yard

After the end of the Co Loa festival, visitors will return to attend village festivals in Bat Xa Loa Thanh with the following schedule:

- Van Thuong village festival: February 17, 2024 (ie January 8, Giap Thin year).

- Ngoai Sat village festival: February 18, 2024 (ie January 9, Giap Thin year).

- Mach Trang village festival: February 19, 2024 (ie January 10, Giap Thin year).

- Cau Ca village festival: February 20, 2024 (ie January 11, Giap Thin year).

- San Gia village festival: February 22, 2024 (ie January 13, Giap Thin year).

- Thu Cuu village festival: February 25, 2024 (ie January 16, Giap Thin year).

Cổ Loa festival contains the historical value of the land, people and residence, the values ​​of folk cultural knowledge in agricultural cultivation, in spiritual cultural beliefs, in customs and practices, and the annual festivals of the Cổ Loa people. Every festival season, the people of Cổ Loa and the villages in Bat Xa have the opportunity to review the historical period of founding the country, fighting against foreign invaders and arousing national pride.
