On June 21, 1982, while people were farming in the Ma Tre area (Co Loa, Dong Anh, Hanoi), they discovered a bronze drum containing more than 200 brass artifacts. Including 96 copper plowshares with different shapes and sizes:

- Group 1: heart-shaped plowshares with the widest space in the center of the plow's length. The head and the part near the shank gradually tapered quite symmetrically, forming a diamond-shaped plow with a triangular cross-section.

– Group 2: The oval plowshare is medium in size, its widest part is near the end, so the shoulder is clearly shown, the head gradually tapered to form an oval.

– Group 3: quasi-circular plowshares whose length and width are roughly equal.

The plowshare is a product of the Iron Age, an achievement of the inhabitants of Dong Son who have experienced thousands of years. Collection of Co Loa plowshares not only shows the progress of metallurgy and bronze casting techniques, but also reflects the development of the agricultural economy of wet rice cultivation, which has developed to a high level.
