Bãi hamlet is located in the north of the Internal rampart near the Middle rampart and the External rampart on the main road from the north gate to the south gate of Cổ Loa citadel.

Điếm xóm Bãi hiện nay mới được xây dựng năm 1992, trên một khu đất hẹp có diện tích 150,7 m2 nằm ở phía tây của xóm, liền cạnh về phía đông con đường từ Cổ Loa lên Uy Nỗ.

The current Bãi hamlet Điếm was just built in 1992, on a narrow plot of land with an area of 150.7 m2 located in the west of the hamlet, next to the east of the road from Cổ Loa to Uy Nỗ.

Điếm ở ngay đầu phía nam của xóm, mặt quay về hướng tây bắc, phía trước là một sân gạch nhỏ không có tường bao quanh. Kiến trúc của ngôi điếm có mặt bằng hình chữ “nhất” với ba gian mái lợp ngói ta, tường bao ba mặt chừa lại ba gian giữa làm cửa đi kiểu khung gỗ có ô sắt bảo vệ, hai cột hiên cũng được xây trát bằng gạch vữa.

Điếm is at the southern end of the hamlet, facing northwest, in front is a small brick yard without walls. Điếm has a Chinese word "一" shaped layout, consisting of 3 wooden-framed compartments with tiled roofs, three-sided walls; to make wooden-frame doors with protective iron boxes, two porch columns are also plastered.

Bãi Hamlet Điếm

Các vì kèo của điếm được làm bằng gỗ xoan kiểu “quá giang, trốn cột”. Bên trong, tại gian chính có một ban thờ đặt ngai gỗ sơn màu sẫm có một số đồ thờ như: bộ chân nến, bát hương, bình hoa. Điếm thờ quan linh, thổ công thổ địa.

The trusses are made of oval wood in the style of “quá giang, trốn cột”. Inside, in the main room, there is an altar with a dark painted wooden throne with a number of worship items such as candlesticks, incense bowls, and vases. The shrine worships spirits and earth gods.  

Trước cửa Điếm có một ngôi miếu nhỏ xây gạch, trên có 3 chữ Hán: Tỉnh thần miếu. Đây là một ngôi miếu mới, do một cá nhân tự bỏ tiền xây dựng trên miệng một chiếc riếng khơi đã bị lấp đầy.

In front of the Diem’s gate, there is a small temple built of bricks, with three Chinese characters on it: Tỉnh Thần Miếu (Tỉnh Thần Shrine). This is a new one, built by an individual at his own expense on a well that was filled up.

Đây là ngôi điếm mới được xây mới theo nhu cầu của nhân dân, cách khu điếm cũ chừng 50m nay đã không còn. Điếm xóm Bãi hiện nay vẫn là nơi hội họp sinh hoạt văn hóa tín ngưỡng của nhân dân trong xóm.

This is a new “Điếm” built according to the needs of the people, about 50m from the old one that no longer exists. Bãi hamlet Điếm is still a place for meetings, cultural and religious activities of the hamlet.
