Vang Hamlet Điếm

“Điếm” has a Chinese word "二" architectural plan with a fairly large forecourt consisting of 7 compartments and 2 hip compartments. The three- compartments sanctuary was built with a sealed gable wall, a narrow courtyard away from the Forecourt. The roof frame consists of 8 primary wooden trusses are made of "kẻ chuyền", especially truss sets at the two ends are made in the "con chồng" style, each has 6 rows of pillars. The decoration is represented by cloud motifs, Bodhi leaves on the primary wooden trusses; some columns in the nave are painted red and painted with with dragon motifs. The roof is quite large with four curved corners supported by brick pillars. The edges of the roof are decorated with lemon flowers. The front has steps throughout the three compartments without doors, the two ends are covered with mezzanine flower walls adjacent to the roof support pillars.

The sanctuary consists of three compartments with walls on three sides, with a door to the entire front. The wooden truss of the sanctuary is made in a simple "con chồng" style, hiding front and rear columns. There is only row of the main column of the middle truss. The roof is covered with tiles.

On the small courtyard paved with Bát Tràng bricks, in front of the forecourt, there is a marble screen wall, inside is an ancient circular well built of Bát Tràng bricks, next to the well is a shrine of water god.

The Vang hamlet is a place to worship spirits, earth gods and water god. Today, “điếm” is still a meeting place for local people's cultural and religious activities.
