At the conference, delegates reviewed the Draft Report on the implementation results of the 2024 Conference Resolution and the 2025 work plan of the Cổ Loa Relic Site Management Board, as well as the 2024 Activity Report of the Board’s Trade Union Committee.

In 2024, under the firm and effective leadership of the Party Committee, the Board of Directors of the Thăng Long – Hà Nội Heritage Conservation Center, and the Management Board of the Cổ Loa Relic Site — along with the unity and dedication of all officials, public employees, and workers — the Board achieved remarkable results in the management, conservation, and promotion of the site’s heritage values. Total revenue reached 113.7% of the assigned plan; approximately 159,043 visitors were welcomed, including 90,642 students in regular visits and 3,878 students participating in heritage education programs. The Board coordinated with local authorities to organize Lunar New Year and Cổ Loa Festival activities safely, economically, and in accordance with national customs and regulations; addressed the aftermath of Storm No. 3; completed the proposal for organizing the “Ngô Quyền Proclamation Festival,” which was approved by the Hà Nội Party Committee in Document No. 3478-CV/VPTU dated April 12, 2024; developed the value criteria for the Cổ Loa Special National Relic Site; and hosted several cultural events such as the exhibition “Ngô Quyền – The Great National Hero,” in coordination with Đông Anh District People’s Committee to celebrate the 1085th anniversary of Ngô Quyền’s enthronement and the founding of his capital at Cổ Loa, as well as the exhibition “Cổ Loa – A Mark of History and Culture” to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Capital’s Liberation.
With a spirit of democracy, openness, and responsibility, the Board’s officials, public employees, and workers actively discussed and contributed ideas and solutions to overcome existing limitations. Representatives from the Board’s divisions presented reports and proposals on improving tourism products and visitor services, enhancing promotion and communication efforts, strengthening site management, and implementing measures to increase visitor numbers and revenue at the Cổ Loa Relic Site.
