On September 26, 2022, at Co Loa site, Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center held a conference on handing over the field landmarks and completion documents showing the location of planning landmarks for Co Loa citadel site and boundary of 07 ranked monuments in Co Loa citadel (scale 1/2000).
Attending the conference were representatives of the leaders of Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, the Management Department of the Project of Preservation and renovation of Co Loa site - Hanoi Citadel, and the Management Department of Co Loa vestige site, People's Committees of communes: Co Loa, Viet Hung, Duc Tu, consulting unit - Hanoi Cadastral Joint Stock Company.

Handover Conference planning landmarks of Cổ Loa citadel (scale 1/2000)
The purpose of the project is to survey, measure and preliminarily assess the location of the planned landmarks in the field and estimate the expected material and specifications of the landmarks compared to the design for the purpose of define and bury landmarks. Survey and evaluation results for the parties to coordinate to come up with the most optimal plan in identifying and burying landmarks to match reality.
The total number of landmarks is 818, of which:
- The planning area (113 landmarks), including the entire area of Co Loa citadel site with a circumference of about 11.77 km, a total area of about 860.4 ha (according to the Master plan for conservation, embellishment and promotion of the value of Co Loa citadel, the scale of 1/2000 has been approved by the Prime Minister), of which Duc Tu commune: about 134.54 hectares, Co Loa commune: about 559, 37 hectares, Viet Hung commune: about 116.44 hectares and Uy No commune: about 50.05 hectares.
- Protected area of 07 ranked monuments (within the area of Co Loa citadel site) (705 landmarks), determined according to the map zoning the relic protection areas and on the planning boundary line, including: Co Loa citadel, King An Duong Vuong temple, Ngu Trieu Di Quy communal house, My Chau temple, Bao Son pagoda, Mach Trang communal house, and Mach Trang pagoda.

The planting of landmarks and handing over the landmarks to the direct management units of the Co Loa special national relic site is very important in the management, coordination of management, propaganda, protection and handling of cases of direct violation to the monument and the landscape space of the monument. At the same time, clearly define the responsibilities of State management agencies and specialized agencies in the management, protection, preservation and promotion of the value of the Co Loa special national relic site according to the law.
