According to the ancient custom of the locality recorded in the book "Ngoc Pha Co Luc", the 7th March – Lunar Calendar is the day of "the death of the king", also known as the anniversary of the death of King An Duong Vuong - the king who built the country in in the 3rd century BC, the feudal dynasties had ordained gods and was worshiped at Thuong temple, Co Loa relic site, Co Loa commune, Dong Anh district, Hanoi city.

In order to pay tribute to ancestors, to educate the traditional morality of when drinking water, think of its source, on the anniversary of the death of King An Duong Vuong on 7th March – Lunar Calendar every year, Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center, Management Department of Cổ Loa Vestige Site held incense offering ceremony to commemorate King An Duong Vuong at Thuong temple. Attending the incense offering ceremony were Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai - Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Head of the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization; Mr. Nguyen Huu Nghia - Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Economic Commission; representatives of leaders of Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; District Party Committee - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh district; Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Co Loa commune, together with a large number of mass organizations, people of Co Loa commune, Dong Anh district and visitors from all over the country.
