The traditional houses in Cổ Loa all have a common feature of 5 compartments, facing the South. When building a house, homeowners often write on the truss or rafters about the year of construction. In the house, in addition to common items, there are many pairs of parallel sentences, Chinese characters made of gilded wood or plaster on the wall.
