On the morning of October 8, 2024, at the Co Loa Relic Site, the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center and the Co Loa Relic Site Management Board held the opening ceremony of the exhibition “Co Loa - Historical and Cultural Imprints”. This is an activity to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
Attending the opening ceremony were: Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Duc Cuong - President of the Vietnam Historical Science Association; Associate Professor, Dr. Architect Nguyen Quoc Thong - Vice President of the Vietnam Architects Association; Dr. Pham Quoc Quan - Member of the National Cultural Heritage Council; Dr. Nguyen Van Son - President of the Hanoi Historical Association; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang - Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; Mr. Nguyen Hong Minh - Deputy Director of the Department of Tourism; Ms. Nguyen Thi Tam - Vice Chairman of the Dong Anh District People's Committee; Mr. Ngo Van Nam - Deputy Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; Ms. Nguyen Hong Chi - Deputy Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; Mr. Hoang Cong Huy - Deputy Head of the Co Loa Relic Site Management Board; Associate Professor, Dr. Lai Van Toi - Former Deputy Director of the Imperial Citadel Research Institute; Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thi Phuong Chi - Institute of History; Mr. Ngo Huu Minh - Vice Chairman of the Ngo Family Council of Vietnam; Representative of the Institute for Relic Conservation; Leaders of departments of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center; Leaders of departments and offices of the Dong Anh District People's Committee; Leaders of departments and organizations of the communes: Co Loa, Viet Hung, Duc Tu, Uy No; Board of Directors of schools, Business Clubs, Antiques Clubs and a large number of residents of Co Loa commune; Travel companies, newspapers, central and city television stations, tourists and people.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Quang - Director of the Thang Long - Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center said: Known as the largest ancient citadel in Vietnam, Co Loa citadel is not only associated with the legends of the nation, Co Loa is also a cultural heritage, a testament to the creativity, technical level as well as the culture of the ancient Vietnamese people in the struggle to defend the country and fight against foreign invaders. Today, Co Loa is an ideal destination for tourists from all over the world who want to explore the cultural values, the familiar images of a peaceful Northern village. For the people here, Co Loa citadel always plays an important role in the spiritual life and cultural activities. Through the exhibition, we hope to spread the tangible and intangible cultural values; Promote the responsibility of local communities and tourists in preserving and promoting heritage values, contributing to preserving national cultural identity and serving local socio-economic development.
