On the morning of 20 August 2025, at the Cổ Loa Relic Site, the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center and the People’s Committee of Đông Anh Commune held the opening ceremony of the exhibition themed “Cổ Loa – Tradition and Revolution.” This event celebrates the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution (19/8/1945 – 19/8/2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (2/9/1945 – 2/9/2025).

In her speech, Ms. Nguyễn Hồng Chi – Deputy Director of the Thang Long – Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center stated: "The victory of the August Revolution in 1945 is a brilliant milestone in the history of the nation, opening a new era – the era of national independence associated with socialism. In that glorious history, the people and land of Cổ Loa – Đông Anh made significant contributions, standing alongside the nation in revolutionary struggles, in building and defending the Fatherland."
With the theme “Cổ Loa – Tradition and Revolution,” this exhibition presents to the public many valuable documents and images that vividly reflect the historical and cultural traditions and patriotic spirit that have endured from the time of An Dương Vương to the heroic revolutionary years in the Hồ Chí Minh era. Tradition and revolution are the two sacred currents that have shaped a resilient Cổ Loa in history and a dynamic, developing Cổ Loa today.
