Dear compatriots, comrades, soldiers nationwide and our compatriots abroad,

In the past time, in the face of complicated developments of the Covid-19 epidemic, the Party and State have issued many directives on strengthening epidemic prevention and control, taking care of people's lives, protecting people's health, socio-economic development; timely promulgate many policies to support people and businesses facing difficulties due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic... All levels, sectors, localities and people nationwide have proactively and promptly implemented strong and drastic measures such as distance, social isolation, "vaccine strategy", "vaccines and 5K measures"... to prevent and control epidemics, initially some positive results have been obtained.

On behalf of the leaders of the Party and State, I warmly welcome, praise and appreciate the efforts of the residents both home and abroad, who have promoted the patriotic tradition, the spirit of the union, mutual affection, mutual love; thank the international community for accompanying, supporting, and joining efforts with Vietnam in epidemic prevention and control; praising the timely and active participation of the whole political system, which has contributed to controlling and preventing the outbreak of the disease; socio-economic development, take care of people's lives and protect people's health.

Currently, the situation of the Covid-19 pandemic is still developing very complicatedly, spreading very quickly, causing great harm to people's health and lives, seriously affecting the socio-economic development and all aspects of life. With the spirit of "fighting the epidemic like fighting the enemy", giving priority to protecting the people's health and life, first of all, on behalf of the Party and State leaders, I earnestly call on the entire Party, people, army and Our compatriots abroad: We have tried harder and harder; united more and more united; was determined to be even more determined; the whole nation united with the Party, Government, all levels and branches to find all possible ways to prevent and repel the epidemic from spreading and breaking out in the community. I request all levels of Party committees, party organizations, authorities, and the steering committee for Covid-19 prevention and control from the central to local to be more drastic in their leadership and direction; highest concentration of effort and time, prioritizing all resources; proactively grasp and forecast and control the situation well; absolutely must not be negligent, subjective, passive or unexpected in responding to new developments of the epidemic; flexibly, creatively organize the effective implementation of this important work.

I deeply believe that, with the whole country's contribution, the whole Party and people are united in their will and actions, together with the sincere help of our compatriots abroad and international friends, we will win against the Covid-19 pandemic and must win it equally, making a worthy contribution to the common effort of all mankind for a safe, healthy, peaceful, friendly, and cooperative,  prosperity world, worthy of the glorious heroic tradition of our country, our people!
