On the morning of 02 February 2025 (the 5th day of the Lunar New Year), the People’s Committee of Đông Anh District and the People’s Committee of Cổ Loa Commune inaugurated the cultural and sports activities at the Cổ Loa Spring Festival celebrating the Party and the Lunar New Year – Year Ất Tỵ 2025.
The cultural and sports activities, along with traditional folk games of the Cổ Loa Spring Festival 2025, take place on the 5th day and the main festive day, the 6th day of the Lunar New Year. These include: the Traditional Wrestling Tournament (at Đình Ngự Triều Di Quy), Human Chess (central stage), Loa Thành Crossbow Shooting (at Lan Trì village stadium), Traditional Volleyball (at Mít village stadium), Cổ Loa Classical Tuồng (central stage), Đào Thục Water Puppetry (central pond area), Quan họ singing on dragon boats (Giếng Ngọc area), and a Public Arts Performance Program (central stage).
