On the morning of October 27, 2022, within the framework of the mid-term meeting program of the Department of Education and Training of Dong Anh district and the principals of schools in the district, the Management Department of Co Loa vestige site coordinated with The Department of Education and Training of Dong Anh district propagates and introduces the Heritage Education program at Co Loa site to schools in Dong Anh district in order to promote the Heritage Education program at the Co Loa site and bring local history teaching into schools. Attending the conference were about 150 teachers who are principals of schools, including: Kindergarten, Primary School, Middle School, High School, Vocational Training Centers, Continuing Education Centers in the district.

Management Department of Co Loa vestige site introduced the Heritage Education Program

The Heritage Education program at Co Loa is a visual history class to explore ethnic origins, event spaces, characters, and archaeological remains from legend to reality. Through the program, it will contribute to strengthening the relationship between heritage and school, between heritage and family, enhancing the responsibility of the community and the young generation in preserving the precious heritages of Vietnam. Especially, Dong Anh students will always be proud to understand the history of Co Loa site in association with the history of the locality, the capital and the country in the early stages of national construction and defense.

At the conference, the teachers were very excited and interested in the contents of the program so that they could combine them into the history education curriculum for students. In the future, with the close attention and coordination of the Education Department of Dong Anh District, as well as the Department of Directors of the schools, in addition to preserving traditional historical and cultural values, the Management Department of Co Loa vestige site will continue to research and innovate activities to discover and experience richer and more unique.
