VĂN THƯỢNG VILLAGE FESTIVAL – SPRING ẤT TỴ 2025
Ngày 27 tháng 11 Năm 2025

On the morning of February 5, 2025 (the 8th day of the first lunar month, Year of the Snake Ất Tỵ), at the Văn Thượng Communal House, the Festival Organizing Committee inaugurated the 2025 Văn Thượng Village Festival.
Văn Thượng Village (Xuân Canh Commune, Đông Anh District, Hà Nội) is one of the “Eight Villages Serving the Deity” (Bát xã hộ nhi) venerating King An Dương Vương. After the Cổ Loa Festival on the 6th day of the first lunar month, the people of Văn Thượng gather once again on the 8th day to hold their traditional village festival in remembrance and honor of King An Dương Vương, who unified the Âu Việt and Lạc Việt tribes to establish the state of Âu Lạc.

It is not only an occasion for villagers to express gratitude to their ancestors, but also an opportunity to preserve and promote the traditional cultural and artistic values of the community.
